TUXEDO Computers Now Supports Fully Automated Installations of Debian 13 – 9to5Linux

Linux hardware vendor TUXEDO Computers announced today a new version of their TUXEDO WebFAI (Fully Automated Installation) tool that includes support for the latest Debian 13 “Trixie” operating system.

With TUXEDO WebFAI, anyone can set up their Linux installations fully automated and as fully functional as those done at TUXEDO Computers during production. TUXEDO WebFAI also brings you the latest tested Linux distribution versions from the TUXEDO Computers servers.

With the release of TUXEDO WebFAI 2.1, out today, the range of easily installable distributions has been expanded to offer you the installation of the recently released Debian 13 “Trixie” operating system with either the GNOME or KDE Plasma desktop environments.

“We are now fulfilling this promise and offering the installation of the recently released Debian 13 “Trixie” with GNOME or KDE Plasma with WebFAI 2.1. Support for additional desktop environments is not currently planned,” said TUXEDO Computers.

TUXEDO Computers promises to keep the installation of Debian 13 as close as possible to the official installation when using the Debian ISO images. As such, TUXEDO WebFAI 2.1 will install Debian Trixie with the free Nouveau driver for NVIDIA GPUs instead of the official NVIDIA graphics driver to avoid any hardware issues.

“An installation of Debian 13 with WebFAI from TUXEDO comes with technical support for the installation process. Communities and forums are available to help users with any questions they may have about Debian and its use,” added TUXEDO Computers.

Apart from Debian 13 “Trixie”, TUXEDO WebFAI also supports fully automated installations of popular GNU/Linux distributions like Linux Mint with Cinnamon desktop environment, Ubuntu LTS, Kubuntu, Xubuntu, Ubuntu MATE, and the company’s Ubuntu LTS-based TUXEDO OS with the KDE Plasma desktop environment.
