Slimbook Refreshes Its Flagship Linux Laptop, Introduces Slimbook Manjaro III – 9to5Linux

Linux hardware vendor Slimbook announced that it has refreshed its Linux-powered laptop fleet with more powerful components and cutting-edge technologies.

First in the line is the Slimbook EVO, Slimbook’s flagship laptop introduced last year, which now features the brand-new AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 processor with 10 cores and 20 threads, next-generation NPU with 50 TOPS designed for local execution of AI models, up to 128 GB RAM, and up to 16 TB NVMe PCIe 4.0 storage.

The new Slimbook EVO also features Wi-Fi 7 support, USB-C 4.0 support with up to 40 Gbps bandwidth, DisplayPort 1.4a video output (iGPU, HBR3, 32.4 Gbps), and integrated charging (Power Delivery 100W), HDMI 2.1 with HDCP 2.3 (iGPU, TMDS, 6 Gbps), and webcam and microphone control for enhanced privacy and security.

Next in line is Slimbook ELEMENTAL, Slimbook’s most well-balanced, mid-range laptop, which now comes equipped with the latest Intel Core 5 120U processor for increased computing power with optimized power consumption, up to 64 GB RAM, and up to 4 TB M.2 NVMe SSD storage.

Last but not least, Slimbook unveiled the third edition of the Manjaro Linux gaming laptop, the Slimbook Manjaro III, which features the AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS processor with 8 cores, 16 threads, and 24MB cache, and the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 8GB graphics card, along with a powerful 99Wh battery.
